Job summary

EOS IT Solutions in the United States is seeking an Optical Service Technician to install, test, and troubleshoot fiber optic networks across production environments. The role requires advanced fiber expertise, ability to work independently, and occasional travel to multiple sites to support data center infrastructure and cloud operations. You will lead field activities and ensure QA/QC throughout installation projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in network infrastructure experience.
• Extensive fiber optic installation, testing, and troubleshooting at scale.
• Experience working in live production environments.
• Experience supporting network migrations.
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot fiber optic cabling.
• Perform OTDR and OLTS testing.
• Execute installation services per project specs and standards.
• Support network migrations in production environments.
• Document results and ensure QA/QC.
• Coordinate field activities with teams and stakeholders.
• Lead safety briefings and site coordination.
