Lightpath is building a dense fiber network across the Northeast and beyond. We seek a Senior Infrastructure Technology Engineer to design, analyze, document, and support ISP/OSP, fiber backbone, and data center infrastructure.

You will work with Planning, Construction, and Ops to ensure scalable network expansions and reliable customer solutions. Ideal candidates bring 7+ years in telecom fiber design, strong GIS and technical writing skills, and the ability to generate detailed engineering

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years hands-on telecom fiber infrastructure experience.
• Ability to produce design packages, diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Strong written and verbal communication; capable of cross-team collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Produce ISP/OSP engineering designs, layouts, and specifications for network projects.
• Validate records for passive infrastructure and fiber distribution; update data discrepancies.
• Assess capacity and constraints; document remediation or upgrade actions.
• Coordinate requirements and handoffs with Network Planning, Construction, Operations, and Sales Engineering.
• Prepare BOMs, cost estimates, and BOM inputs for budgets and procurement.
• Develop fiber route designs and splice plans with regional engineers.
