Job summary

Astreya Partners, LLC in California seeks a Senior IT Infrastructure Project Manager to lead complex utility-scale ISP/OSP fiber projects. You will drive cross-functional teams, manage schedules, budgets, and resources, and ensure compliant delivery of multi-site fiber builds.

The role requires experience with OSP/ISP fiber construction, trenching, conduit, splicing, and both waterfall and agile methodologies. Travel to job sites is expected as part of duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Telecommunications, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience managing complex fiber infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of both waterfall and agile project management methodologies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end fiber infrastructure projects, ensuring on-time, on-scope delivery within budget.
• Oversee OSP fiber construction activities: trenching, conduit, vaults, splicing; manage aerial/underground builds.
• Review engineering drawings (HLDs/LLDs, splice diagrams, redlines, as-builts) and maintain project plans.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders; monitor risks and issues.
• Drive deployment strategies using iterative approaches to minimize disruption.
• Mentor junior project managers and ensure compliance with standards and policies.
