Job summary

Bristol Companies in Hawaii seeks a cable installer helper to lay and connect internet, TV, and phone lines at customer sites. You will run aerial and underground cables, install enclosures, test signals, and document work. A basic understanding of telecom systems and a willingness to learn are required.

Candidate should have a high school diploma and a valid driver’s license; training is provided. Position may require outdoor work and on-call availability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0 to 6 months of experience in the field or related area.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure cable systems (internet, TV, phone) on customer premises.
• Place aerial/underground cable to connect premises.
• Install enclosures, vaults, and infrastructure components.
• Test signals and troubleshoot for optimal service.
• Provide excellent customer service and explain services.
• Follow safety guidelines (OSHA, NESC) and document work.
