Allied Consultants, Inc is seeking an experienced Senior Healthcare Integration Developer (FHIR/HL7) to lead development of healthcare interfaces for Texas State Agencies. The role emphasizes HL7 v2, FHIR, API integration, and secure data exchange, with a hybrid work model in Austin, TX.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, developing, testing, and supporting healthcare interfaces using HL7 v2, FHIR, REST APIs, JSON, XML, data mapping, transformation, validation, troubleshooting, error handling, and healthcare data exchange.
• Strong knowledge of secure coding, authentication, authorization, and production support for healthcare interfaces.
• Familiarity with AWS-based data platforms and healthcare interoperability standards.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a FHIR/HL7 development resource for the project.
• Analyze requirements and perform cost/benefit analyses of solutions.
• Design, develop, test, and support healthcare interfaces (HL7 v2, FHIR).
• Ensure security, compliance, and production support for interfaces.
• Work hybrid: 3 days remote with 2 days onsite near Austin, TX.
