Job summary

GDIT is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst for the NMMES FEM program in Montgomery, Alabama. You will design and deploy secure infrastructure, lead security architecture across datacenter, cloud, and hybrid environments, and integrate SIEM/IDS/IPS tooling to protect DoD systems.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a technical field, 5+ years of cybersecurity experience, and the ability to work onsite with potential hybrid arrangements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, information assurance, systems engineering, or related IT disciplines.
• Experience designing and implementing enterprise security architectures in government or highly regulated environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and integration of secure infrastructure solutions.
• Architect and integrate security across datacenter, colocation, cloud, and production environments.
• Develop technical documentation, white papers, implementation guides, and training materials.
• Deliver cybersecurity training and awareness initiatives for stakeholders.
• Monitor evolving threats and recommend strategic improvements to strengthen security posture.
