Job summary

GDIT is seeking an IT security professional to support DHHS information security, including firewall design and security infrastructure implementation. You will analyze systems to ensure security functions are integrated into architecture and manage POAM remediation for government investment supported systems.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in IT security or related field with 10 years of experience, plus strong knowledge of FIPS/NIST and security monitoring.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT Security, CS, or related field with 10 years of experience.
• IT security implementation and monitoring required.
• Expert knowledge of data security administration methods and federal security policies (FIPS, NIST).

Responsibilities

• Provide support for DHHS information security including firewalls and security infrastructure design and implementation.
• Analyze information systems to ensure appropriate security functions are included in system design and architecture.
• Manage responses and remediation of POAMs related to government investment supported systems.
