We are seeking a Senior Fellow in Manufacturing Engineering. The Senior Fellow will help resolve top technical issues, work with the senior team to assess discipline capability, and lead talent and technology development strategies for the discipline. Responsibilities include developing Manufacturing Standard Work and System Tools to support Manufacturing Engineers. The role also involves influencing factory design, supplier selection, and leveraging technology to achieve product cost, quality, performance, and operational goals. The Senior Fellow may hold an organizational position with additional responsibilities.
Compensation:
• Paid relocation
• $140,000 - $170,000 plus bonus and excellent benefits
Experience:
• 15+ years in manufacturing, preferably with aerospace gas turbine engines or related fields
• Expertise in raw material processes, machining, special processes, inspection, automation, additive manufacturing, and related techniques
• Experience with statistical process control, lean manufacturing, workflow optimization, process improvement, and cost reduction
• Demonstrated leadership in solving manufacturing issues, team leadership, coaching, and mentoring
• Experience in developing and implementing standard processes
Education:
• BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field; MS or PhD preferred
• Knowledge of Manufacturing Execution systems, standard work, and skills development
• PPAP / Process Certification knowledge
Additional Requirements:
Candidate must have strong interpersonal skills, be results-oriented, capable of managing multiple projects, and be a US citizen or Permanent Resident (no sponsorship).
