What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct targeted prospect calls to develop new and existing business growth while actively engaging with customers in the field
- Analyze sales results to track growth, identify underperforming areas, and develop strategies for improvement
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to execute sales growth strategies incorporating animal nutrition programs and technologies
- Develop training programs tailored to meet individual and farm-specific needs
- Maintain accurate client history records and provide tracking reports within the CRM as required by management
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Animal Science or a related agriculture field preferred; candidates with relevant experience may be considered
- 7-10+ years of experience in animal science/nutrition with a proven sales track record
- Solid understanding of the grass cattle industry, including current management practices and nutritional guidelines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong organization and time management abilities
- Must possess a basic command of animal nutrition and management recommendations
