American Express Global Business Travel is seeking a Travel Consultant to service corporate and government travelers, coordinating domestic and international arrangements across air, rail, and lodging. You will leverage Sabre GDS and adhere to travel policies while delivering exceptional service.

The role emphasizes accuracy, integrity and proactive problem solving within a team, supporting defense and government clients under the US Federal government framework.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a corporate travel consultant.
• Native GDS expertise (Sabre).
• Professional communication (written and verbal).
• Attention to detail.
• Passion for excellence in client service, including proactive anticipation of needs.
• Act with integrity and look after personal traveler information.
• Strong understanding of the travel industry (business/leisure travel or airline reservations).
• Resolving customer issues quickly and independently / with supplier.
• Teamwork and openness to feedback.

Responsabilités

• Advise and arrange travel for corporate business customers (both individuals and groups).
• Conduct analysis and research on travel options, and proactively anticipate traveler needs to sell additional services.
• Arrange and book domestic and international business travel, in a variety of complexity, for air, road, rail, and accommodations.
• Global Distribution Systems (GDS) Sabre.
• Ensure compliance with customers’ travel policies and regulatory requirements.
• Use positive telephone service techniques and act on special customer requests.
• Collaborate with your team to coach, mentor, and provide constructive feedback to improve service levels.
