Job summary

Lukos LLC in Washington, DC, seeks a Senior Business Consultant to drive large-scale business transformation, performance optimization, and strict compliance across executive initiatives. You will bridge financial requirements with automated IT solutions, evaluate controls, and provide strategic coaching to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• PMP certification, DHS mid-level Project Management certification, or Six Sigma Master.
• Black Belt Certification, or equivalent certification.
• 12+ years of relevant experience, or 8+ years with a Master's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and map complex inter-relationships between core financial management requirements and automated business systems.
• Evaluate and account for seamless integration of multi-tiered systems across current and future deployments.
• Review and assess workflows to verify compliance with federal standards and internal controls.
• Apply change management principles to facilitate organizational adoption during major projects.
• Lead business process development and re-engineering to modernize operations and reduce bottlenecks.
• Establish and analyze KPIs to evaluate project success and operational effectiveness.
• Direct and manage highly complex projects from inception to completion within scope and schedule.
• Coordinate activities across stakeholders, teams, and technical specialists for seamless delivery.
• Review drafts for coverage, accuracy, quality, and alignment with customer requirements.
• Read and apply federal policies and directives across PWS tasks as directed.
• Provide strategic coaching to executive leadership to align leadership and transformation goals.
• Synthesize financial, technical, and operational data into executive-level reports.
