Job summary

Genesis Consulting has an immediate opportunity for a Senior Technical Business Analyst and Federal T&E SME to drive growth and transformation for a Federal client in the Washington, DC area. You will leverage both legacy and open‑source technologies to design, develop, and support travel and expense solutions.

The role requires deep knowledge of T&E policies, experience with Jira, SAP Concur, and TMC concepts, plus strong Agile project management and stakeholder communication skills.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience defining T&E services requirements and performance metrics.
• Familiarity with Federal policies and T&E business frameworks.
• Knowledge of travel software solutions such as SAP Concur.
• Background in Travel Management Company (TMC) and PNR elements.
• Experience documenting system requirements and traceability using a tool like Jira.

Responsibilities

• Define travel and expense services requirements and performance metrics for Federal clients.
• Develop T&E business and process models and service configuration documents.
• Assess current and future state needs and perform gap analyses.
• Create communications materials for leadership alignment and endorsement.
• Provide guidance on industry best practices to Federal counterparts.
• Support meeting management as needed.
