Job summary

The Squires Group is seeking a Concur Travel Consultant to design, configure, implement, integrate, and optimize SAP Concur Travel solutions under a Federal Government Contract. The role ensures compliance with FTR and involves requirements gathering, design workshops, testing, training, and post-implementation support.

Candidates must be U.S. Citizens able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance. On-site 4 days/week for those near Herndon, VA; other locations may offer hybrid arrangements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of implementing SAP Concur Travel, Expense, and Request solutions.
• Certification in SAP Concur Travel Implementation and Configuration is required.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP Concur Travel configuration, including travel booking and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Configure, implement, and maintain SAP Concur Travel solutions, including travel booking, reporting, and system functionality.
• Lead design workshops and requirements-gathering sessions with business stakeholders to identify and document system needs.
• Support the integration of Concur Travel with other enterprise applications and systems.
• Ensure Concur Travel configurations and processes comply with Federal Travel Regulations (FTR).
• Develop functional specifications, system requirements, and detailed design documentation.
• Conduct system, configuration, and integration testing to validate functionality and performance.
• Identify, track, troubleshoot, and resolve system defects throughout implementation and testing.
• Provide technical support, production troubleshooting, and recommendations for system upgrades and improvements.
• Assist with user training, system deployment, and post-implementation support.
• Collaborate with technical teams, business users, and project stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of Concur Travel solutions.

Our client is seeking a Concur Travel Consultant to support the design, configuration, implementation, integration, and optimization of SAP Concur Travel solutions, ensuring compliance with Federal Travel Regulations (FTR), while collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, lead design workshops, conduct system testing, and provide ongoing technical and operational support.

Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens with the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.

Candidates within a 50 mile radius of Herndon, VA will be required to go on-site 4 days a week.

• Certification in SAP Concur Travel Implementation and Configuration required.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP Concur Travel configuration, including travel booking and reporting functionality.
• Strong understanding of integrations between Concur Travel and other enterprise systems.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Federal Travel Regulations (FTR) and their application to government travel systems.
• Demonstrated experience leading design workshops, gathering business requirements, and translating requirements into functional solutions.
• Hands‑on experience with Concur Travel configuration, system testing, and integration testing.
• Experience supporting defect management, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
• Preferred: Experience working with the E‑Gov Travel Service (ETS) system.
• Preferred: Experience with the GSA Travel Reporting Tool.
