The Clearing Inc. seeks a Strategic Communications Specialist to support senior federal and Department of War stakeholders with strategic communications, executive briefings, and digital content creation.

The role requires substantial federal-sector experience, top-tier writing, and an active Top Secret clearance. You will translate complex programs into concise, compelling products for senior leaders, manage multiple assignments, and deliver visually engaging content across platforms, including

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, English, PR, marketing, or related field; relevant experience may substitute.
At least six years of progressively responsible professional experience in strategic communications and project management.
Minimum six years supporting a federal government organization, Department of War entity, federal contractor, or federal consulting engagement.
Experience preparing communications products and briefing materials for senior leaders or high-level decision-makers.
Active Top Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategic communications plans aligning messaging, audiences, timelines, and stakeholders.
Coordinate and deliver communications projects from requirements through publication and closeout.
Prepare senior-level briefing materials: executive briefings, talking points, presentational materials.
Translate complex programs and policies into concise, accessible content for leaders and external audiences.
Create content for social-media platforms with emphasis on LinkedIn and X.
Produce presentations, documents, trackers, and other materials using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
