Job summary

Texas A&M University is seeking a Senior Research Development Officer to identify and pursue federal contract opportunities that align with the university's research strengths. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Four years of experience developing or writing proposals for federal, state or private agencies.
• Experience leading complex proposal development and cross-functional teams.
• Deep knowledge of FAR/DFARS procurement processes and OTAs.

Responsibilities

• Serves as end-to-end proposal manager for complex, high-value bids.
• Establishes proposal schedules, compliance matrices, WBS, and storytelling sessions.
• Translates technical capabilities into compliant, compelling proposal sections.
• Leads internal bid reviews and coordinates with internal stakeholders for compliance.
• Monitors SAM.gov, agency roadmaps, and BAAs to evaluate opportunities.
