Job summary

ACET, Incorporated is seeking a Senior Proposal Manager to lead the full lifecycle of federal, state, and commercial proposals. You will coordinate cross‑functional inputs, ensure FAR/DFARS compliance, and guide color-team reviews to strengthen the win strategy.

The ideal candidate has 7–10 years in proposal management, DoD acquisition experience, and strong writing skills, with Shipley or similar methodology; U.S. citizenship is required for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, English, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 7–10 years of experience in proposal management, federal contracting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS, DoD, and federal acquisition processes.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, SharePoint, and Teams.
• Experience with Shipley or similar proposal methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the full proposal lifecycle from capture to submission.
• Develop and manage schedules, outlines, compliance matrices, and review plans.
• Coordinate input from technical, management, pricing, and contracts teams.
• Facilitate color team reviews and incorporate feedback.
• Ensure compliance with all RFP/RFQ/RFI requirements and internal standards.
• Write and edit proposal sections, executive summaries, and narratives.
• Collaborate with pricing and contracts to align cost with technical approach.
• Manage proposal production and submission and ensure quality of deliverables.
• Develop templates, best practices, and lessons learned for future proposals.
