GDH Consulting, Inc. is seeking a senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and oversee complex network projects that meet security and compliance requirements.

The role requires deep knowledge of FISMA, NIST 800-53, TIC 3.0, FedRAMP, and IPv6, with a focus on scalable, future‑ready infrastructure. You will lead strategic network initiatives, collaborate with stakeholders, and drive security validations, audits, and architecture reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience designing and implementing complex network infrastructures with emphasis on security and compliance.
• Strong knowledge of federal cybersecurity standards (FISMA, NIST 800-53, TIC 3.0, FedRAMP).
• Experience with IPv6 deployment and network implementation.
• Ability to develop detailed network blueprints and frameworks from requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of network strategies and technical frameworks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to assess requirements and design detailed network blueprints.
• Develop network project plans and incorporate innovative approaches.
• Provide technical leadership for secure network architectures per policies and standards (FISMA/NIST).
• Ensure compliance with federal mandates, Zero Trust, and IPv6 initiatives.
• Support security audits, architecture reviews, and ATO activities.
• Oversee security aspects of deployments and maintain security oversight.
• Research and evaluate emerging network technologies to enhance security and scalability.
• Evaluate third‑party vendors and integrate solutions for value.
