Job summary

GAP Solutions Inc in the United States seeks a Senior Human Resource Specialist to apply advanced federal HR skills across staffing, classification, processing, benefits, recruitment, compensation, SES programs, work life programs, and policy development for DHS ICE OHC HROC.

You will research policies, create SOPs, map workflows, and design reports using NFC and other databases while conducting workforce studies and ensuring compliance with federal guidelines.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree is required.
• 10 years of federal HR experience (federal employee or contractor).
• Delegated Examining Certification and HRM Certificate required.
• Knowledge of Health and Human Services guidelines for federal drug testing; valid driver’s license; travel by air may be required.
• U.S. citizen or Legal Permanent Resident with three-year US residency in the last five years.

Responsibilities

• Research HR policy, write new HR policies and provide guidance on federal HR.
• Develop, document and implement SOPs.
• Review HR workflow and map processes to streamline workflows.
• Design and produce reports/queries using NFC and agency databases; implement internal controls for accountability.
• Conduct workforce studies (mobility, competency model, career paths, performance, staffing and demand).
