Job summary

ThinkTek LLC is seeking an experienced Data Architect and Lead Data Engineer to define and implement a secure, traceable technical foundation for enterprise performance reporting. This hands-on role leads architecture, data models, ETL pipelines, APIs, and deployment decisions for Federal review.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in a technical field, 3+ years in data architecture and integration, strong SQL and programming skills, and a current Active Secret Security Clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (CS/IS/Data Eng/Software Eng)
• 3+ years in data architecture, systems integration or data engineering
• Experience designing data architectures, models, mappings, integrations
• Strong SQL and programming, hands-on data pipelines and APIs
• Experience with secure data solutions in Federal or regulated environments
• Familiarity with modern software development practices (source control, tests, deployment)
• Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and explain decisions

Responsibilities

• Assess source systems and define data architecture, models, mappings, and lineage
• Translate business measures into technical requirements and acceptance criteria
• Design, develop, deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot secure ETL pipelines and APIs
• Develop production-quality SQL and code for data integration and APIs
• Apply security, testing, deployment, monitoring, and recovery practices
• Lead technical reviews and coordinate decisions with authorities and data owners
