Job summary

Accenture Federal Services in Washington, DC seeks engineers with deep networking, server, and identity management skills to support government systems. Qualifications

• Broad technical experience across networking, servers, virtualization, identity management, and system integration.
• Solid understanding of relational database concepts and hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
• 5+ years working with ports, protocols, firewalls, network connectivity troubleshooting.
• Windows and/or Linux servers, VMware or Hyper-V, and COTS software deployments in government environments.
• Scripting experience (PowerShell, Python) for automation/integration.
• Working knowledge of identity services including Microsoft Entra ID.
• Understanding accreditation, compliance, and security assessment processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide development and O&M support for a production system during core and non-core hours.
• Assist with installation, configuration, and validation of the COTS application in test and production.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including networking and server/VM operations.
• Evaluate requirements, dependencies, and integration points for compatibility.
• Prepare documentation for accreditation, compliance, and security assessments.
• Develop and maintain system installation guides and procedures.
• Troubleshoot during testing and deployment and resolve issues.
• Communicate project status, risks, and technical considerations to leadership.
