Job summary

I2X Technologies is seeking a Senior Contract Specialist to support a Federal Government customer in Washington, D.C. on-site. The role requires a U.S. Citizenship and a strong background in procurement, contracts, and negotiations.

You will develop SOAs, evaluate bids, coordinate with end users, and ensure compliance with policies. The position emphasizes attention to detail, legal/regulatory knowledge, and effective communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, management, economics, mathematics, English, or government, or equivalent experience.
• Four years of progressively responsible experience handling the procurement process from solicitation through contract closeout.
• Excellent knowledge of contracting regulations, laws, practices, and policies.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret procurement-related materials.
• Excellent analytical ability, oral and written communications, and strong organizational capabilities.
• Commitment to a strong customer service philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Develops the Solicitation Offer and Award Package (SOA) for non-standardized procurements including construction projects and coordinates with end users and stakeholders to ensure quality and completeness.
• Plans, organizes, prioritizes, and performs multiple tasks to efficiently execute job functions.
• Keeps current with market trends, costs, laws, and regulations; ensures a competitive vendor pool.
• Receives and evaluates bids for compliance; oversees technical and cost evaluations; manages communications with vendors.
• Develops negotiation plans and leads negotiations with vendors; resolves solicitation issues, protests, and disputes.
• Ensures compliance with procurement policies; oversees contract reviews; recommends contract awards; administers awarded contracts.
• Coordinates with the COTR on technical/end-user issues and product acceptance; addresses non-performance and contract claims/disputes.
• Maintains data quality and inputs information into automated systems.
