Planate Management Group (PMG) is seeking a Contract Specialist III to lead complex federal acquisitions for the Department of Veterans Affairs. This senior role requires extensive contracting expertise across construction, complex services, and leasing procurements, with responsibility for strategy, compliance, and stakeholder coordination.

Salary is competitive, ranging from $80k to $90k with experience and qualifications influencing the range.

Formación

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Business Management, Accountancy.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in comprehensive acquisition support with FAR knowledge.
• FAC-C or DAWIA Level III in Contracting Certification preferred.
• Ability to mentor junior acquisition staff.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee full lifecycle acquisition activities for complex contracts.
• Conduct market research, pre-award notices, and small business capability analyses.
• Develop acquisition strategies and IGCEs, solicitations, and risk assessments.
• Prepare solicitations (RFQs, RFPs) per FAR/VA policies.
• Assist with proposal evaluations, price/cost analyses, and technical reviews.
• Administer awards, modifications, options, and close-out docs.
• Monitor performance, schedules, and contract terms; resolve issues.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
• Maintain contract docs in e-procurement systems and FPDS.
• Submit monthly reports, milestone trackers, and lessons learned.
