Job summary

The Ross Group Construction Corporation seeks a Project Manager to oversee complex projects, ensuring quality, schedule, plans, specifications, and budget adherence. You will liaison between the Owner and Ross Group, coordinating with federal agencies and project teams to deliver on time and within budget.

Key duties include staffing oversight, budget monitoring, pre-construction coordination, vendor selection, contract review, and compliance with FAR/DFARS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field; Construction Management, Civil or Mechanical Engineering are a plus.
• Experience managing construction projects with focus on quality, schedule, budget and safety.
• Familiarity with USACE, NAVFAC, or other federal construction projects preferred.
• Knowledge of federal contract management systems including RMS, QCS, NAVFAC e-Builder, and Primavera P6.

Responsibilities

• Monitor staffing needs, evaluate performance, and address staff issues as warranted.
• Actively manage project budgets and develop scenarios to achieve under-budget delivery.
• Coordinate pre-bid activities and update estimating across design deficiencies and staffing needs.
• Solicit subcontractors and suppliers for proposals prior to submission.
• Review and negotiate contracts with Owner and executives, ensuring FAR/DFARS compliance.
• Attend Owner/Architect meetings and progress meetings under federal contracts.
• Oversee compliant submission of payments, RFIs, submittals, and document control.
• Maintain project tools and RMS/QCS/NAVFAC e-Builder/NAVFAC related processes.
• Lead project team to deliver on schedule and budget while ensuring safety and quality.
