Job summary

Bodwé Professional Services Group seeks a Senior Project Manager to support construction and facility engineering for the James J. Rowley Training Center in Laurel, Maryland.

The role focuses on execution, technical delivery, and project administration under established program direction. You will manage day-to-day activities, review contracts and drawings, coordinate with contractors and government stakeholders, and support closeout and turnover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field; or equivalent experience.
• PMP or other recognized project management certification preferred.
• Minimum of 20 years of project management experience in federal construction projects; demonstrated experience managing projects valued at $50M+.

Responsibilities

• Provide project-level support to the COR for assigned construction and facility engineering projects.
• Manage day-to-day execution of individual projects including scheduling, coordination, and reporting.
• Review construction documents, submittals, drawings, and specifications for contract compliance.
• Identify and resolve field conditions and construction issues as they arise.
• Support design reviews and constructability assessments.
• Draft technical input for change orders and contract modifications.
• Track contractor performance against cost, schedule, and quality requirements.
• Support project reporting and status updates to Government stakeholders.
