Job summary

Bodwé is seeking an experienced CAD/GIS Support professional to maintain AutoCAD and GIS files in support of construction and facility engineering at the James J. Rowley Training Center in Laurel, Maryland.

This role focuses on hands-on project execution, field coordination, and technical support across all construction phases, with periodic travel and the need to obtain/maintain government security clearances. The position is on-site in Laurel, MD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 4 years' experience with AutoCAD and ESRI GIS platforms.
• Experience managing or supporting construction projects through planning, execution, and closeout phases.
• Strong knowledge of construction management principles, scheduling, and contract administration.
• Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders and project teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day CAD support for assigned construction and facility engineering projects.
• Support the COR and/or senior project leadership in the execution of contract requirements.
• Coordinate with Government stakeholders, contractors, subcontractors, and facility personnel.
• Review construction schedules, design documents, drawings, and submittals for contract conformance.
• Monitor project progress to ensure alignment with scope, schedule, budget, and quality requirements.
• Identify construction issues and field conditions; support development of practical solutions.
• Assist with preparation of Statements of Work (SOWs), cost estimates, and contract modifications.
• Support acquisition activities including responding to contractor questions and participating in site visits.
• Attend and support contractor/Government meetings and project coordination sessions.
• Draft technical input for change orders and contract adjustments.
• Ensure contractor deliverables meet contractual and technical requirements.
• Support reporting, documentation, and project status updates for Government stakeholders.
• Assist with project closeout and turnover activities.
