Job summary

GitLab seeks a Senior Professional Services Engineer to own delivery workstreams for federal engagements in FedRAMP-authorized cloud environments, DoD IL4/IL5 enclaves, and air-gapped networks.

You will install and configure GitLab in classified environments, train government staff, migrate agencies from legacy tooling, and advise on security and compliance posture. An active TS/SCI clearance and DC-area work are required.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering infra or platform work in a customer-facing or consulting role.
• Active TS/SCI clearance and ability to work in the DC area (DC Metro).
• Hands-on with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible, Packer, Puppet, Chef).
• Experience with GovCloud, Azure Government, or Google Assured Workloads.
• Experience deploying GitLab and its CI/CD, registry, and Premium/Ultimate features.

Responsibilities

• Deliver assigned Statement of Work scope independently and manage deliverables.
• Install, configure, upgrade, troubleshoot GitLab architectures across environments.
• Migrate agencies from legacy tooling to GitLab Gov offerings.
• Train government staff and advise on security/compliance posture.
• Translate compliance requirements into GitLab configurations and artifacts.
