Job summary

Workday Government in Reston, VA is seeking a senior cloud IAM engineer to support DoD/Intel contracts. You will help manage entitlements, automate identity administration, and integrate with Okta or EntraID in an air-gapped environment.

Candidates should have TS/SCI w/CI Poly preferred, 8+ years in IAM, IaC with Terraform, RBAC/PBAC experience, and SIEM tools like Splunk. On-site in the DMV with flexible work options.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship is required.
• Security clearance: TS/SCI w/ CI Poly preferred with ability to obtain.
• 8+ years as a cloud engineer focused on IAM.
• Experience centralizing authentication/authorization and RBAC/PBAC.
• Infrastructure as code with Github and Terraform.
• Experience developing automation tools in Python or similar.
• Experience integrating cloud platforms with external IAM tools (Okta, EntraID, etc.).
• Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk or similar).

Responsibilities

• Manage entitlements and permissions in cloud services environments (AWS, Azure/EntraID, GCP).
• Automate identity administration, authentication, and authorization to resources in air-gapped networks.
• Collaborate with cloud engineering and cybersecurity teams to support DoD/Intel requirements.
• Contribute to infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines; implement federation protocols (OAuth, OIDC, SAML, SCIM).
