Job summary

Red Carrot is seeking a Senior Client Delivery Manager to lead day-to-day delivery of strategic communications, marketing, and creative services for federal clients. You will serve as the primary contact for customer stakeholders, ensuring on-time, on-budget, on-brand outcomes aligned to contract requirements.

Leads cross-functional teams, translates requirements into clear project plans, and maintains scope, schedule, and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, Public Relations, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in client services, account management, or project delivery within a communications, marketing, or creative agency environment.
• Minimum 3 years of experience supporting federal government customers.
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects, budgets, and teams simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present confidently to senior stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and project management tools (e.g., Asana, Smartsheet, or similar).
• PMP or similar project management certification preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a federal Public Trust or suitability determination.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for customer stakeholders, building trusted relationships and managing expectations across multiple concurrent projects.
• Oversee end-to-end delivery of communications and marketing work, including campaigns, creative assets, digital and social content, events, and reports.
• Translate customer requirements, task orders, and statements of work into clear project plans, schedules, and team assignments.
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams of writers, designers, digital specialists, and subcontractors to deliver high-quality work.
• Monitor scope, schedule, budget, and staffing; identify risks early and drive timely resolution or escalation.
• Establish and enforce quality control and review processes, including Section 508 accessibility, plain language, and brand standards.
• Prepare and deliver status reports, monthly progress reports, meeting minutes, and other contract deliverables.
• Track labor hours and burn rates in partnership with finance and operations to support accurate invoicing and forecasting.
• Identify opportunities to expand services and improve customer outcomes; contribute to recompete and proposal efforts
• Mentor junior staff and promote consistent delivery practices across the Red Carrot team
