Job summary

TAS Energy Inc. is seeking a FAT Technician III to lead inspection and testing of TAS equipment in a manufacturing shop. You will perform mechanical, electrical, and controls verifications, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with project documents.

Qualifications

• Ten years or more project field experience in construction support, startup, repair, and maintenance work.
• Five years or more managing a team in an industrial shop for field environment.
• Experience with verification of compliance with ASHRAE, ASME, and other relevant codes.
• Journeyman or master electrical license preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, safety rules, operating instructions and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple teams on a daily basis.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, controls and architectural visual inspections.
• Perform tagging/labeling checks.
• Perform PID walk-down.
• Inspect major mechanical equipment (chillers, pumps, heat exchangers, fans, etc.).
• Verify LV & MV power cable installations.
• Perform electrical testing and LV meggering.
• Complete checklists in Autodesk Construction Cloud.
• Train others in factory acceptance testing.
