Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking a FAT/SAT & Commissioning Project Technical Lead to plan, coordinate, and execute FAT, SAT, and commissioning for complex engineering projects. You will serve as the primary technical authority throughout testing and startup to ensure safe, on-time, within-scope delivery and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required.
• 3–5 years leading FAT/SAT and commissioning activities.
• Strong understanding of industrial equipment, process systems, and controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead FAT, SAT, commissioning and startup activities from initiation to turnover.
• Develop commissioning strategies, schedules, and test protocols.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across engineering, quality, and operations.
• Serve as primary technical liaison with customers during FAT/SAT and startup.
• Verify conformance to design, contractual, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead troubleshooting and resolution of deficiencies and punch-list items.
• Review engineering docs (P&IDs, wiring, specs, procedures).
• Document test results, actions, and turnover packages with quality controls.
• Support project management with resource planning and risk assessments.
• Promote safety and ensure regulatory compliance throughout all activities.
