Cherry Bekaert’s FAO Senior Associate role focuses on delivering accounting, financial reporting, and operational accounting services to middle-market clients. You will support day-to-day accounting, month-end close, and financial statement preparation in a collaborative team.

You will work with accounting software and ERP systems, applying strong analytical and communication skills while managing multiple client priorities and ensuring accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Minimum 3+ years of accounting or finance experience.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
• Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day accounting activities for multiple client engagements including GL, AP, AR, and bank reconciliations.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes and prepare journal entries.
• Prepare accurate financial reports and management reporting packages.
• Maintain accounting records and ensure internal controls adherence.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and other client accounting projects.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
• Leverage accounting systems to support efficient service delivery.
• Manage multiple client priorities while delivering high-quality service.
