Job summary

Cherry Bekaert’s Finance & Accounting Outsourcing practice is growing, seeking an experienced FAO Senior Associate to join our Greenville team. • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of accounting or finance experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day accounting activities for multiple client engagements, including GL, AP, AR, and bank reconciliations.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports and management reporting packages.
• Maintain accounting records and ensure compliance with processes and internal controls.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and other client accounting projects as needed.
• Collaborate with clients and internal team members to resolve accounting issues and improve processes.
• Leverage accounting systems and technology to support efficient service delivery.
• Manage multiple client priorities while delivering high-quality client service.
