Job summary

Seamen’s Society for Children and Families seeks a Family Team Conferencing Supervisor to oversee FTC facilitators and a case aide. You will schedule conferences, ensure timely invitations, and monitor documentation to ACS standards. The role requires travel between Staten Island and Brooklyn and evenings as needed.

You will also guide staff, attend leadership meetings, and participate in ongoing training to support foster care planning and client services.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work or a related field.
• Two years of supervisory experience, preferably in foster care.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule including evenings.
• Travel between Staten Island and Brooklyn is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision and coaching to a team of Family Team Conference facilitators and a case aide.
• Schedule Family Team Conferences in advance of the FASP due date and ensure invitations are mailed timely.
• Maintain FTC calendar and ensure conferences comply with ACS regulations.
• Invite ACS legal team to conferences as needed and monitor documentation in Connections.
• Facilitate conferences and treatment team meetings when required.
• Participate in ongoing training and leadership meetings and support staff development.
