Confident Search Consultants is hiring a Family Nurse Practitioner for 100% outpatient clinical care on Long Island, NY. The ideal candidate will hold NYS RN and NP licenses, with 8+ years of NP experience, and demonstrate strong diagnostic and communication skills.

The position offers a highly competitive salary between $200,000 and $300,000 per year, full-time with flexible hours and no call. Join a physician-led group with collaboration across care teams.

Qualifications

• Must have BSN and MSN from an accredited nursing program.
• Must hold NYS RN and NP licenses and BLS certification.
• Minimum 8+ years as a NP with strong patient focus.
• Excellent diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to grow a local practice.
• Familiarity with EMRs and value-based care metrics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key clinical provider in outpatient primary care.
• Deliver preventive, acute, and chronic disease management.
• Refer patients to specialty services as needed.
• Communicate diagnoses and treatment options clearly to patients.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR system.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and care teams.
• Provide clinical oversight to nurses and support staff.
• Ensure HIPAA, NYS DOH, CMS, and payer guidelines compliance.
• Participate in population health initiatives and quality improvement.
