Job summary

Foxconn Industrial Internet - FII is seeking a Failure Analysis Engineer in Houston, TX to diagnose hardware issues, analyze circuits, and determine root causes. You will collaborate with R&D, Product Engineering, and Quality teams to resolve escalations and drive corrective actions.

Responsibilities include leading engineering investigations, supporting RMA processes, and promoting best practices across WW operations. A strong background in FA, EDA tools, and Linux is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of seven (7) years of FA experience with hands-on HW support for fault‑isolation and related systems.
• Proven ability to debug complex hardware issues using test equipment such as logic analyzers and oscilloscopes.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots, debugs, and determines root cause at multiple system levels for customer devices.
• Drives recovery actions and repairs for failing devices.
• Lead engineering investigations of significant customer field and factory escalations related to hardware issues.
