Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) is seeking a Senior Failure Analysis Engineer to ensure reliability of next‑gen GPU-accelerated servers and AI infrastructure. You will investigate complex failures across hardware, firmware, validation, and manufacturing, driving rapid resolution in high‑velocity data center environments.

You will collaborate with firmware, design, validation, and quality teams, translating technical findings into actionable corrective actions and documentation that improves

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field.
• Hands-on experience debugging server platforms, rack‑level systems, or data center infrastructure.
• Experience with GPU server architectures and large-scale compute platforms.
• Ability to analyze logs, firmware traces, and telemetry to identify root causes.

Responsibilities

• Become proficient with AMD server platforms, rack-level infrastructure, debug workflows, and failure analysis methodologies.
• Drive RCA and FMEA on server, rack, and data center level failures.
• Support internal AMD sites with system bring-up, triage, and debugging to accelerate deployment readiness.
• Reproduce field/manufacturing failures in lab environments and validate corrective actions.
