Job summary

Oracle is seeking a Factory Quality Engineer to ensure quality, reliability, and manufacturing readiness of complex hardware products. You will own IQC/OQC/OBA, RCCA, and risk-based actions with manufacturing partners and cross-functional teams to protect ramp, OK-to-Ramp, and OK-to-Ship decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing quality, process quality, supplier quality, or related engineering discipline.
• Strong knowledge of IQC, OQC, OBA, factory test flows, yield metrics, pareto analysis, retest rates, containment, and CAPA processes.
• Experience applying RCCA methods such as 8D, 5-Why, Fishbone, CAPA.
• Ability to analyze failure data and drive fact-based resolution with partners and internal teams.
• Ability to work with incomplete data during ramps or shipment pressure.
• Strong written and verbal communication for cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Monitor factory quality performance across products and sites (IQC, OQC, OBA, FPY, APY).
• Analyze signals to identify emerging risks and containment gaps before ramp/ship.
• Lead issue containment, RCCA follow-up, and corrective-action validation with partners.
• Ensure process escapes and rework risks are documented and tracked to closure.
• Review factory test coverage to detect known failure modes before shipment.
• Validate effectiveness of OBA controls across workmanship and packaging.
