Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking a skilled 2D Layout Engineer to lead factory and site layout design across manufacturing lines, warehouses, storage areas, material flow systems, and support spaces. You will develop long‑term site master plans to support capacity expansion and growth, and create 2D/3D layouts aligned with production plans and constraints.

Qualifications

7+ years of experience in factory layout planning or related field.
Experience with PFEP, warehouse design, and material handling systems.
Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, or similar layout software.
Experience with simulation and modeling tools such as FlexSim.

Responsibilities

Lead factory and site layout design activities across manufacturing lines, warehouses, storage areas, material flow systems, people flow, and support spaces.
Develop long‑term site master plans to support capacity expansion, operational scalability, and future manufacturing growth.
Create and maintain detailed 2D and conceptual 3D layouts aligned with business requirements, production plans, and facility constraints.
Design and optimize end‑to‑end material flow, including inbound logistics, WIP, warehouse operations, and outbound finished goods movement.
Collaborate with Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain, Facilities, Construction, and EHS teams to ensure successful project execution and alignment.
