Job summary

Coherent Corp. is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Worker to identify and repair building and equipment issues across complex systems.

The role requires independent problem solving, reading electrical schematics, and performing installations and calibrations with a range of tools. Applicants should have 3+ years of relevant experience and journeyman certification in primary fields such as electrical, mechanical, or plumbing.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a Facilities Maintenance Worker, journeyman certification in electrical/electronics/mechanical/plumbing/HVAC/carpentry/vacuum systems.
• AA degree or technical training may substitute for up to two years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify and correct building/equipment issues; work on highly complex assignments with initiative.
• Read and analyze electrical circuits, blueprints, maintenance manuals, and engineering sketches.
• Perform equipment installs, repairs, calibrations, and service; test components with meters and readouts.
• Respond to emergencies and perform off-hours repairs as needed.
• Maintain safety standards and follow EHS procedures and Coherent Corp. policies.
