Job summary

BVG & Company is seeking an experienced Facility Security Officer (FSO) to lead security programs supporting its classified DoD environments. The role interfaces with leadership and government management to ensure contract security compliance per NISPOM, DD Form 254, and SCGs.

This is a remote position with occasional travel to support company initiatives. The candidate will oversee all security activities, maintain program databases, and administer clearances, while ensuring DOE/NNSA policy

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 3+ years security compliance experience or 7+ years in lieu of degree
• US citizen and able to obtain Top Secret DoD clearance with SAP/SCI access
• Familiar with DoD processes and procedures and federal security requirements
• Highly organized, proactive, able to manage multiple priorities
• Willingness to travel up to 20% for operations and engagements
• Experience with NISPOM, DD Form 254, and SCGs is preferred

Responsibilities

• Administer and coordinate security activities to ensure federal security regulations compliance
• Provide security support and policy for classified meetings
• Review and maintain program security database
• Process new employee security clearances
• Brief new hires on security procedures and policies
• Advise employees and modify operations policies as needed
• Ensure personnel maintain required security clearances
• Provide training and guidance on security topics including OPSEC and COMSEC
• Ensure DOE/NNSA policy compliance and safeguard sensitive information
