Job summary

Hikma Pharmaceuticals USA Inc. in Columbus, OH, seeks a Facility Plant Engineer to lead planning, optimization, and continuous improvement of HVAC, utility, and energy systems across the site.

You will coordinate with engineering leadership, manage projects, and drive reliability and efficiency across plant operations. Responsibilities include system design, inspections, and implementation of upgrades, with a focus on compliance, data-driven problem solving, and collaboration with external firms

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering with 7+ years of relatable experience; OR
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering with 5+ years of relatable experience; OR
• Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering with 3+ years of relatable experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering leadership to support the design, specification, construction, startup, and validation of HVAC, utility, and energy systems for capital and upgrade projects.
• Lead mid-level complexity projects, identify innovative solutions, and communicate business value; track progress to meet scope, schedule, and budget.
• Research and evaluate emerging technologies related to HVAC, utilities, and energy systems; implement solutions aligned with site performance metrics.

Education

Associate degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering

Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering
