Job summary

Hikma Pharmaceuticals USA Inc. seeks an Automation Engineer to manage automation activities for production and facility equipment. You will provide troubleshooting, optimize systems, and support new equipment design and installation.

Lead projects, maintain drawings, and ensure cGMP compliance across site utilities and processes. Qualifications include a engineering degree and 5–7 years' experience in process control, instrumentation, and electrical distribution, with PLC/SCADA expertise and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
5-7 years of experience in process control systems including instrumentation, automation, and electrical distribution (preferred in chemical, food, or pharmaceutical industries).
Experience with network and system administration of Microsoft-based systems, Visual Basic, and SQL is preferred.
Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting.
Experience with PLC brands: Allen-Bradley, Modicon, Siemens S7.
Experience with SCADA systems; Wonderware preferred.
Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and project documentation.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot control and instrumentation systems to resolve moderately complex equipment issues.
Support design, installation, startup and validation of process control systems and instrumentation for capital projects.
Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and suppliers to ensure timely design and implementation.
Lead mid-level projects and maintain documentation and as-built drawings.
Identify and implement continuous improvement for plant automation control systems.
