Job summary

US Federal Emergency Management Agency Region 5 seeks a facilities operations manager with advanced knowledge in staff supervision, maintenance, project and property management, and security program leadership. You will interpret policies, analyze complex facility and security issues, and manage operations across multiple disciplines.

The position requires one year of specialized experience at GS-12 or equivalent, demonstrating ability to lead cross-functional teams in a federal setting.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of facility operations management.
• Experience supervising staff in facilities environments.
• Experience in maintenance and property or project management, or security program management.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and implement policies related to facility management operations.
• Analyze a variety of unusual facility, security, safety, and property problems, questions, or conditions; AND
• Manage facilities operations in at least three of the following disciplines: Maintenance Management, Property Management, Contract Management, Project Management, Security and Safety Program Management.
