This position reports to the Senior Director of Design & Construction and is responsible for the facility team’s overall performance and for meeting facility-specific financial goals. The role requires maintaining a strategic view of our portfolio of 220+ corporate studios and must have a “continuous improvement” mindset. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams including operations, real estate, legal, and accounting to support our growing portfolio.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

  5. Engage with Legal and outside counsel to escalate facility, vendor, and building issues (as needed).
  6. Closely monitor the operational and financial performance of the facility teams, perform root cause analysis of processes, procedures, and programs to identify contributions to performance deficiencies; recommend resolutions.
  7. Enable and motivate team members to proactively develop and implement solutions to complex studio requirements outside standard procedures.
  8. Prioritize workflow and develop scalable processes/systems for operations, facilities, and vendors. Develop systems to identify potential issues before escalation, working with facility specialists to resolve high-priority issues and escalating only the most severe ones with actionable recommendations.
  9. Supervise capital project management, including proposals, funding processes, and project completion.
  10. Ensure facility management team enforces high standards for quality, accuracy, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  11. Maintain effective communication between operational teams and studio/regional leadership through meetings and reporting.
  12. Create standard weekly/monthly facilities reports for cross-functional and senior leadership review.
  13. Use analytical tools to identify service trends and implement best practices for service delivery and operating processes, driving continuous improvement.
  14. Identify and evaluate key vendors annually, adjusting as necessary, including RFP processes. Mentor facility specialists to develop their skills and responsibilities.
