Job summary

Lannett Company in Seymour, IN, is seeking a Facility Maintenance Mechanic III to perform advanced maintenance on site facilities and related equipment. Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years’ experience as a mechanic or technician, preferably within a pharmaceutical company.
• Associate Degree in Industrial Mechanics Technology, Instrumentation or Electronics is desirable.
• A license and/or a certification course from a recognized source in a relevant field is desired. Training in the form of an apprentice program with on the job training would also be taken under consideration.
• Pharmaceutical experience or GMP experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance on facilities and facility related equipment requiring a high level of technical understanding.
• Capable of working on all the facility related equipment throughout the site with a high degree of expertise.
• New Installation or system modification for all equipment and mechanical systems.
• Facility systems and equipment enhancements and optimization.
• Assist with the new equipment PM, procedures and SOP generation.
• Perform complex high-level preventive maintenance to keep the equipment in good working condition by following complex written instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics on complex mechanical and/or electrical components on facility related equipment.
• Participate in equipment modifications, rearrangements or small to medium projects.
• Conduct inspections of equipment and the facility to identify and report issues or defects and proper reporting methods to supervision.
