Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of repair and maintenance engineering.
• Education in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering or technical discipline is preferred.
• Experience supporting maintenance, reliability, or engineering activities within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Ability to interpret and review mechanical and electrical engineering specifications and evaluate equipment requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage projects or processes and solve difficult or complex technical problems.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across engineering, maintenance, production, and other operational teams.

Job Description: The opportunity Join Hitachi Energy as a Senior Facility Engineer and help keep critical manufacturing operations running safely, reliably, and efficiently.

In this role, you’ll bring your engineering expertise to the planning, development, and implementation of maintenance programs that improve equipment availability and productivity. You’ll work at the intersection of engineering, maintenance, and production, helping solve complex equipment challenges while identifying opportunities to strengthen reliability and long-term performance. You’ll have the opportunity to review mechanical and electrical engineering specifications, evaluate new equipment designs from a maintainability and reliability perspective, and support the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
