Job summary

HealthFirst is seeking a Credentialing Specialist to support the credentialing and re-credentialing of providers, facilities and vendors, ensuring data accuracy and regulatory compliance. The role includes preparing hard-copy directories and coordinating with third-party vendors for online postings, along with preparing presentations for oversight committee meetings.

The position involves identifying process improvements to strengthen regulatory adherence and performing facility credentialing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• Time and project management, critical/creative thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Intermediate Microsoft software skills include Adobe, Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Office

Responsibilities

• Credential and re-credential providers, facilities and vendors in accordance with regulations.
• Prepares hard-copy directories and works with third party vendors for posting online directories.
• Reviews provider data for accuracy and ensures regulatory compliance.
• Identifies and assesses opportunities to improve processes to better ensure regulatory compliance.
• Prepares presentations for credentialing and delegate vendor oversight committee meetings.
