Job summary

Healthfirst seeks a Credentialing Specialist to support credentialing and re-credentialing of providers, facilities, and vendors, ensuring data accuracy and regulatory compliance. You will prepare hard-copy directories and coordinate with third-party vendors for online postings.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required for credentialing responsibilities.
• Facility credentialing experience is essential.
• Strong time and project management, critical/creative thinking, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and related tools (Adobe, Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Credential and re-credential providers, facilities and vendors and review data for accuracy.
• Prepare hard-copy directories and coordinate with third-party vendors for online postings.
• Assist with quarterly credentialing and delegate vendor oversight committee meetings.
• Conduct audits to ensure adherence to contracts and regulatory requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and communicate with internal and external partners.
• Raise issues to management and support resolution; other duties as assigned.
