Job summary

Jacobs seeks a Senior Consultant in Atlanta, GA to lead facility and infrastructure condition assessments, asset management initiatives, and capital planning projects. You will manage projects, oversee multidisciplinary teams, and maintain client relationships while supporting business development.

This role requires 15+ years in asset/condition assessments, 10+ years leading projects, and travel up to 30%. The base salary reflects market norms for senior roles in the region and industry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, facilities management, or related field.
• 15+ years of experience in facility/infrastructure assessments, asset management or capital planning.
• 10+ years of project management leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of building systems and infrastructure assets.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules and client relationships.
• Excellent oral and written communications; data analysis and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead facility and infrastructure condition assessment projects from initiation to closeout.
• Develop scopes, schedules, budgets, resource plans and risk strategies.
• Direct multidisciplinary teams including architects, engineers, planners, and asset management specialists.
• Monitor performance to ensure delivery within scope, budget and schedule.
• Serve as primary client contact and prepare executive summaries.
• Identify opportunities for broader asset management activities.
• Plan and oversee assessments for buildings, campuses, utilities, transport assets, and critical infrastructure.
• Direct field investigations, asset inventories and system evaluations.
• Develop Facility Condition Index analyses and capital renewal plans.
• Support lifecycle costing and risk-based prioritization methodologies.
• Ensure data quality and integration into client asset management systems.
• Review findings across disciplines and develop modernization recommendations.
• Facilitate meetings, workshops, and site reviews with clients.
• Present findings and capital planning recommendations to leadership.
• Support business development, proposals, and contract negotiations.
• Collaborate with operations, design and program management teams across markets.
• Develop budgets, track expenditures, and manage subcontractors.
