Job summary

Apperture Solutions is seeking a talented Automation Engineer to join our Facility Automation Services Team. The role focuses on designing, configuring, and commissioning facility automation systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

You will support site engineering at customer sites and collaborate with a cross-functional team. Ideal candidates have experience with BMS platforms such as Siemens Apogee/Desigo, Schneider EcoStruxure, Johnson Controls MetaSys, or Honeywell Niagara,

Qualifications

• Associate degree or BS in chemical engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer engineering, systems engineering, computer science or related disciplines.
• 0–5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with building access control systems, video surveillance, energy management, and lighting control systems.
• Windows and network troubleshooting skills; FDA-regulated industry experience is a plus.
• Project management experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain facility automation systems.
• Configure SCADA solutions, local Historians and interfaces to AVEVA PI.
• Commission facility automation systems at vendor facilities or at customer sites.
• Advise customers on technology selection, project execution strategy, and technical problems.
• Assist in planning and execution of projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Provide technical support and guidance to team members and clients.
• Develop system documentation including functional and detailed design specifications.
